Building a website is not an overnight task. It's taken us months to create the image and bring it to fruition. And now, I'm finally ready to share it with the world. Is it a revolution beginning? It's certainly evolved.
I am personally overjoyed to present my concept of a website that provides nutritional knowledge and empowers people to live better and become more healthy. I view the body as the temple of the soul, and for this reason, I believe in taking the best care of your body.
These days, the Internet has become the most important source to find health information. And since there's so many contradictory opinions out there, it will be nice to have a chance to bust some of the misconceptions and misinformation pertaining to health care and specifically, nutrition.
The first thing I found interesting when starting my undergrad degree in nutrition at the University of North Florida is finding out that the entire science of nutrition has only been around for 100 years. Now I haven't checked my stats to know exactly when physics, astronomy, and chemistry began. But I will say that these sciences make the "science of nutrition" look like an unborn fetus. The idea here is that we ARE STILL LEARNING. Not just me, the entire field of scientists, physicians, and nutritionists and registered dietitians are in the midst of learning about nutrition. If not, they should be. There just hasn't been enough research to have all the answers.
However, we can say this... our bodies adapted to the earth over a long time, and with great precision. So, before you jump on other food marketers' often misleading claims on what to eat, drink and take for your body, think back to your cultural roots and to the human body itself.
I invite you to explore your unique biochemical individuality with me. I don't pose to have "THE ANSWER" to everyone's health concerns. I realize that you, sister, brother, neighbor and coworker are all unique. Though I can share with you what I've learned about nutrition and the body from working with well over a thousand unique individuals in my career as a dietitian/nutritionist.
I plan to show you how to use nutrition to become healthier and make life better. The journey involves you more than anyone else, and I am committed to help lead the way. I believe the timing in every decision is always perfect.
I invite you to become more evolved with nutrolution.
