Here-yay, Here-yay, this is my very first blog ever, literally. I've never even touched a blog, let alone fully understand what it is. Strange for a generation x-er, and considering I've been online every day for the past 5 years working, emailing my clients, and keeping up with my gazillion contacts. But change happens, sort of like, sh$*, I think ;) Well, at least in this case.
I'm Rachael Richardson, and my blog will definitely become more professional after I get this experience of a new beginning off my chest and start to understand what it really means to have a blog. For instance, where does this rank on the scale of my daily journal to the wall street journal in terms of coverage? If you are reading this, can you let me know, so I know who you are, and what you want?
I'll tell you what I want from this blog. I want to express myself and change the world in doing so. I'm an extrovert, but i also love to write. I have an intense (almost Jehovah's Witness-like) passion for healthy living and for helping people reverse "health conditions", modern (man-made) disease, poor health symptoms (no energy, low sex drive), and general malaise for and from life. I believe it is possible, and the more challenges I have, the better I get at one- believing in a cure, and 2- finding it.
I also learn from my thousands of clients and friends and family over the years. I observe closely what they say (and what they don't say) and how their energy feels when they come to me. I work to empower my clients with motivation, knowledge and practical tools to inspire change, transcendence and growth.
In the (almost) 10 years I've been a practicing and licensed nutritionist, I've learned that healing is definitely a personal journey and that there is a large spiritual component. This means, when you're ready to live well, treat your body right, and feel good, you do it. That is the time you find the tools you need to make it happen, or as NIKE always said, just do it. No one can force another human to do anything, virtually. And certainly we can't affect how another person treats their own body. All we can do is be good to ourselves, as consistently as possible, and share how good that feels with those that we love.
Well, I'm here to share my knowledge, insights and journey with you through this thing called a "blog". I feel so young, all of a sudden, since blogs are kinda generation Y, no? Hey, I guess there's always room for growth. Let's see how this goes..... stay tuned for info, insights, and if you're lucky, videos :)
